Ocarina Lessons With Me

Hi, I’m Kristina Lago and I am an ocarina mentor. I offer ocarina lessons for 30$ per 60 minutes session. And from my own experience I know that couple of hours with an ocarina mentor can save you months of work by yourself.

I'm looking for more students now, so you have a unique opportunity to get some lessons with me by reduced price.

For new students price is just 10$ for the first lesson and 15$ for each of the following 3 lessons!

No matter if you are or aren’t going to become a professional ocarina player, you’ll benefit from having a mentor. If you are going to become a professional player you’ll progress faster with a mentor. If you are playing just for joy, you’ll have more joy from playing the ocarina if you approach it better.

I believe that the ocarina is an instrument that is easy to pick up and hard to master. And that ocarina players are quite self-reliable and what they need is not a teacher, but a mentor.

The main difference between an ocarina teacher and an ocarina mentor is that a teacher builds a whole program for a student to follow, to cover all possible nuances of the art of music. It allows all skills to be trained equally. But it takes freedom from the student. The student can’t decide anything in the process of learning. They will be skilled afterwards, but they may lose interest and motivation to keep going.

Mentors are those people who listen how you play and make advice how to fix your mistakes. They can provide lots of useful information without structure. There is a risk to miss some details, but the knowledge you take from a mentor will more suit your current situation. The work of a mentor is to keep you informed when you need it, to make you aware of your mistakes, to motivate you to keep going and to give you hints about how to organize your practice.

Here is what I can do for you:

  • I can help you if you are a beginner in the world of the ocarina and you know nothing about it.
  • I can help you if you play the ocarina already but you want to improve.
  • I probably won’t be able to help you if you have several years of experience of playing the ocarina. In this case, you should look for a professional high rated ocarina teacher.

I’ve been playing the ocarina since 2017 and I’ve spent years researching how to practice efficiently in general. This has involved studying music with piano and guitar teachers since school, and veterinarian training that required remembering lots of different information. I live in Moscow, Russia, time zone GMT+3.

To have lessons with me you’ll need:

  • Some level of English or Russian
  • An ocarina
  • Installed zoom or skype
  • Microphone and web-camera

Tell me more about you:

I'd want to know:

  • Your age
  • Your previous experience of playing the ocarina or other musical instruments
  • The last piece of music you’ve worked on, if you have any
  • Where you are from
  • The best way to contact you (socials, messengers etc)
